Waikato Diocesan School Foundation

The role of our School Foundation is a simple one. It is to raise monies for our school, with the only beneficiaries being our daughters and granddaughters.

Annual student fees and donations provide a base level of buildings, campus development, facilities and resources. The School needs to raise additional funds to ensure that our campus and facilities provide our students and teachers with an outstanding environment in which to learn and teach. And the School uses the Foundation as a vehicle to raise these additional funds.

We realise that our mission to raise funds is never going to cease. So, we aim to create a long-term ‘legacy’ fund to support the School. Financially strong foundations underpin most successful schools and universities worldwide, with a good deal of their funds being granted through their Alumni, both as donations and as bequests. If you can help us, no matter how modest your contribution, we welcome the opportunity to have a confidential no obligation chat with you. We can also ‘lock’ in your donation and ‘ring-fence’ it with your name so that the monies you grant will live on forever under your name. We retain thties and e corpus and only spend the investment return earned, recognising your name at every distribution. And remember, any donation is fully tax deductible.

Thank you to everyone who has donated to us – irrespective of the size of your donation, we are humbled and grateful. Every dollar we raise is invested into our wonderful School and is for the benefit of our beautiful ‘Dio Girls’.

The Foundation Father Daughter Breakfast

This has become an iconic event on our School calendar and is a sell-out every year. It provides a wonderful opportunity for fathers and daughters to spend some quality time together and for fathers to meet other fathers and their daughters.

Annual Giving

At Waikato Diocesan School,  our annual fund donors make all the difference. Gifts to the annual fund provide Dio with the resources to fund special projects at Dio Supporting our campaign makes a bold statement about the pride that our alumnae, current and past parents, and friends feel in their school.
