Founded in 1909, Waikato Diocesan School for Girls is an integrated Anglican day and boarding school for girls in Years 9-13, with a roll of approximately 680 students. Assistant Teacher of Mathematics

This is a permanent full time role, starting Term 1, 2022.

Physical Education & Health Teacher

Teaching Position

Waikato Diocesan School for Girls is an integrated Anglican day and boarding school located in Hamilton, with approximately 650 students. The school is committed to personal excellence with a strong emphasis on pastoral care. We have built an enviable reputation for outstanding academic, cultural and sporting performance and achievement.

We have a vacancy for a fixed term full-time teacher in our PE and Health Department to cover a maternity leave position, commencing 28 January 2022 until 27 January 2023. Must be able to teach Sport and Exercise Science to senior NCEA levels. An interest and experience in Outdoor Education would be an advantage. The role could suit a PRT1 or PRT2 teacher. 
The successful applicant will be a professional, capable and caring teacher who is supportive of the school’s special character. Commitment to the school’s extracurricular sports programme is expected.

Cleaner (Part-Time)

Non-Teaching Role

Waikato Diocesan School is an integrated girls’ boarding and day school with approximately 650 students.  We are looking for a reliable and energetic person to join our team to provide a top quality cleaning service in our school.

Reporting to the Cleaning Supervisor, this role requires an honest and hardworking individual who takes pride in their work, ensuring the provision of a high quality cleaning service in the school at all times.  Therefore, a high level of attention to detail is essential.

Previous experience working in a team of cleaners would be an advantage. You must also demonstrate a commitment to Health & Safety.

This role will be approximately 30 hours per week, 3:30pm – 10pm to be worked Monday to Friday inclusive. Flexibility is important as extra hours may be required from time to time to meet the needs of the role.

Laundry Supervisor (Part-Time)

Non-Teaching Role

Waikato Diocesan School is an integrated girls’ boarding and day school with approximately 650 students.  We are looking for a reliable and energetic person to join our team to provide a top quality laundry service in our school.

Reporting to the Property Manager, this role requires an honest and hardworking individual who takes pride in their work, ensuring the provision of a high quality laundry service in the school at all times.  Therefore, a high level of attention to detail is essential.

Previous experience working with laundry duties and management would be an advantage. You must also demonstrate a commitment to Health & Safety.

This role will be approximately 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday inclusive. This is a term time only role however flexibility is important as extra hours may be required from time to time and in term breaks to meet the needs of the role.
