Parents’ Association
Our Purpose
The Waikato Diocesan Parents’ Association’s purpose is to help create a friendly, fun and involved community of parents. We provide a link between families and school, bring parents together in social and informative events and support our school to be the best it can.
Activities we are involved with:
Host the Year 9 parent Mix and Mingle on the Cherrington Lawn
Mothers Making Memories event
Guest speaker evenings
Provide refreshments at parent-teacher interviews
Leaver Bears
The Parents’ Association is supported by the school’s leadership team, with the Principal attending our meetings. We are also fortunate to have staff, student and board representatives. A Parents’ Association member is also co-opted onto the Proprietor’s Board to help provide a parent voice and connection.
"Our focus is on friendraising, not fundraising."
Meetings
The Parents’ Association meets once a term. We are a friendly group, and meetings are very social. They are also a great way to learn more about our school and what is happening. However, if meetings aren’t your thing, there are other ways to be involved and contribute.
- You can join our email database. This will keep you updated on what the Association is doing and how you can be involved.

Everyone is welcome at these meetings; we love seeing new faces. The Parents’ Association is only as good as we, the parents, make it.
