Weekend Chef (casual)

We are looking for an experienced and energetic Weekend Chef (casual) to join our Catering team.  Our catering team caters for 160 boarders and for various school functions and events. The dining room is open seven days a week during term time and caters for holiday use of the boarding and school facilities.

Reporting to the Catering Manager, the successful applicant will have well-developed time management and organisational skills and have a high level of attention to detail. An ability to communicate and relate well with students, along with exceptional customer service, is essential.

Key requirements for the role include staff supervision, food preparation, cooking, dining room attendance and other key catering functions.  Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.

Hours of work will predominantly be in the weekends, on an ‘as and when required’ basis. The successful candidate may also be required to work during the week from time to time.
