2 positions
Part-time, fixed term

We are looking for two energetic, patient and caring people to join our Learning Support team. Reporting to the Head of Learning Support, the key focus of these roles is to support students across the curriculum for whom special learning needs have been identified, helping them to reach their full potential academically. You will also be required to provide dedicated physical and personal support to identified students.

The successful applicants will be positive role models for young women, with the initiative to work without direction and able to prioritise students' needs. As well as demonstrating a high level of confidentiality in this role, you must have excellent communication skills and be proficient in English - written, reading and oral.

Experience and expertise in a similar position is essential for this role. Ideally you will have secondary school experience, particularly in relation to NCEA.

These positions are term-time only. Hours required are as follows:

Position 1:  15-17 hours per week (Wed, Thur & Fri). Fixed term (up to 3 years)
Position 2:  20 hours (approx.) per week. Flexibility is required to meet the needs of the role. Fixed term (up to 5 years)
Note:  Position 2 has a greater focus on the provision of physical and practical support.

Applications close on Monday 20 November 2017
