Property Manager

The school operates from a beautifully presented 5-hectare campus with outstanding educational facilities. We are looking for an exceptional manager who is a flexible ‘hands on’ leader and a commercially savvy problem solver. Key responsibilities include the management of property services and maintenance, leadership of the property team, project management, health and safety, and involvement in the hiring of school facilities.

Key attributes sought for this position include:

  • Previous experience in a similar management role, ideally with project and financial management responsibilities;
  • Experience in strategic and operational planning;
  • A proven ability to effectively lead and develop a team;
  • Innovative problem solving and strategic thinking, with initiative and willingness to take a 'hands on' approach as required;
  • High quality communication skills;
  • High quality organisational skills, attention to detail and the delivery of quality support and advice;
  • Knowledge or relevant legislation, including Health and Safety, Resource Management and the Building Act;
  • An empathy for the Anglican special character of the school;
  • IT expertise is highly desirable.
