DioFIT Coordinator (part-time)

Reporting to the Director of Sport, the key focus of this role is the promotion a healthy lifestyle to the Dio community, inspiring students to be fit and healthy and working with students to help them achieve their sporting goals.

The DioFIT Coordinator will be required to develop and deliver individual programmes and group training sessions, such as circuit training, boot camps and spin classes.  There will also be the requirement so support the wider sports department by undertaking sports administration and possibly the management of an allocated sport code.

The successful applicant must be approachable, positive and energetic. Initiative, problem solving and excellent communication skills are also important.  The ability to relate well to teenage girls is essential. Therefore proven experience in health and fitness industry, in particular a gym environment is essential.  A relevant qualification is also highly desirable. 

This position, commencing in February 2021, is 20 hours per week, term-time only. The hours required per week are detailed below. Flexibility in hours is required to meet the needs of the school.

Monday           6.30am – 8.00am        and      3.30pm – 6.00pm
Tuesday          6.30am – 8.00am        and      3.30pm – 6.00pm
Wednesday     6.30am – 8.00am        and      2.30pm – 6.00pm
Thursday         6.30am – 8.00am        and      3.30pm – 6.00pm
Friday              6.30am – 8.00am        and      3.30pm – 5.00pm
