We are looking for a person with experience and expertise to develop and maintain our school gardens.

We require a Gardener who has the experience, ability and passion to appreciate the high standard required for our special and unique gardens.

Reporting to the Property Manager and functioning as part of the Property Team, the key focus for this full-time role is to maintain our gardens for a yearly calendar of events, as well as creating and maintaining gardens that provide a pleasant and supportive workplace atmosphere all year round.

As the role requires some lifting and physical work, the applicant will need to be physically fit and be happy working outdoors.  We are looking for a team player who will be willing to assist the wider property team in supporting events and functions around the school from time to time.

Previous relevant experience is essential. The successful candidate must have excellent planning, time management and communication skills.

Catering Assistant (part-time)

Our kitchen caters for approximately 160 boarders, staff, a canteen in the day school and various school functions. The school is open seven days a week during term time and sometimes caters for holiday use of the boarding facilities.

We require a Catering Assistant who is a team player with well-developed time management and organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail.  An ability to communicate with, and relate well to students, along with exceptional customer service is essential.

Reporting to the Catering Manager, the key requirements for the role include food preparation, cooking, dining room attendance and other key catering functions.  Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.

This is a term time only position. Hours are approximately 6 hours per week, to be worked on Mondays.  Additional hours may be required from time to time.  Ideally the successful applicant will be available to work fulltime for the period of 20 June to 13 August 2019 to cover staff leave.

Prep Tutor

We are looking for an energetic and caring person to work as a Prep Tutor in the friendly, family environment of our Boarding establishment. Reporting to the Dean of Boarding, this role requires an adaptable and well-organised person to nurture our girls and help them to reach their full potential academically.

The Prep Tutor is required to supervise and support Boarders with homework and study for up to four nights a week from Monday to Thursday (approx. 6.30-8.00 pm). 

Ideally, the preferred candidate will have a Mathematics and Science background.
