Early Closure on the 23 May

posted 7 May 2018, 20:17 by Debbie Stevens
Dear Parents/Caregivers

We have been notified that the Executive of the Post Primary Teachers’ Association (PPTA) has directed its members to attend a paid union meeting on Wednesday, 23 May at 1.30 pm.  All teachers who are a member of the PPTA are required to attend this meeting to ratify the Terms of Settlement of the Secondary Teachers’ Collective Agreement. Unfortunately, we do not have enough teachers who are non-union members to cover all afternoon classes and students will, therefore, be released at 12.15 pm.

Some school buses will run at the earlier time (Go Bus services to Cambridge, Huntly, Ngaruawahia and Te Awamutu). All other buses will run at the usual time (as they also serve primary and intermediate schools).  However, students who need to remain at school after 12.30 pm can use the library, which will be supervised by staff.  Should your daughter require supervision until 2:30 pm, please complete the Google form by clicking on the following link.

We apologise for any inconvenience this early closure may cause.

Yours sincerely
Mary Curran
