Dio Science Scholars Shine in ICAS Competition

The International Competitions and Assessments for Schools (ICAS) Science assesses students’ skills in the areas of:
Interpreting data, including observing, measuring and interpreting diagrams, tables and graphs
Applying data, including inferring, predicting and concluding
Higher order skills, including investigating, reasoning and problem solving.

Congratulations to the following Dio students who were awarded Distinction or High Distinction in the 2015 competition. The students were presented with their certificates at assembly this morning, along with our NIWA Science Fair award winners (as photographed above with Assistant HoD Science, Mr Angus Jones).
