This afternoon, our 2015 Scholarship recipients will be acknowledged at a special Scholars Assembly.
Twelve students received 15 Scholarships over nine subjects - including two Outstanding Scholarships awarded to 2015 Year 12 students Amy Spittal (Statistics) and Shae Creahan (Biology). Amy was also awarded Scholarship in Biology and Economics.
New Zealand Scholarship provides recognition and monetary reward to top students in their final years of schooling. Scholarship
examinations enable candidates to be assessed against challenging standards, and are demanding for the most able candidates in each subject.

These results usually increase when results are confirmed later in the month.
· Level 1 excellence endorsements increased from 27.3% to 35.5% and the overall percentage of endorsements (merit and excellence) increased at every level, most notably from 58.4% to 67.3% at Level 3.
· The number of Level 3 students attaining University Entrance increased from 92% to 93.3%.
