Cupcakes for Charity

Congratulations to Frances Healey (class of 2010), winner of our Dionamic Facebook Cupcake Competition. Her prize? The chance to gift a dozen cupcakes to a deserving Hamilton charity of her choice.

Frances chose True Colours Children's Health Trust and this morning we personally delivered the dozen delicious cupcakes to delighted CEO Cynthia Ward and Counsellor Stephen Parkinson.

True Colours is a Waikato-based health care organisation, funded entirely by community generosity. It exists for the sole purpose of supporting seriously ill children, young people, and their families.

Here is what Frances had to say about her charity of choice.

"When I was Dio head of boarding in 2010 this is the charity we chose to donate money to, so to be able to do something as lovely as this down the track is very special. We visited the True Colours House in 2010 and the place was filled with such love and care, not only for the children but their families as well. It was truly humbling to see the joy they brought to so many lives so I hope these cupcakes bring some happiness to their day".

A HUGE thank you to our friends at SugarPlum Cake Co (115 Alexandra Street, Hamilton) for sponsoring and supplying the gorgeous cupcakes.
