Ken Williamson OStJ, QSM, JP

Ken is a former shareholder and Director at Law Mooney Williamson Insurance Brokers (LMW), one of the first established and largest
indigenously owned commercial insurance brokerages in New Zealand. LMW was sold to Crombie Lockwood in 2008. Ken remains as a Broker. 

Ken has a passion for the community and holds roles as: Chair of the Waikato Diocesan School Foundation; Chair of Te Rau Aroha Papakainga (Maori Women’s Refuge); Trustee of the Lion Foundation; McKenzie Centre; Order of St John Midland Region; University of Waikato Foundation; Waikato-Bays Tennis Association; Hamilton Science Awards Trust (Kudos); and Sunningdale RSA Veteran’s Home. Ken is also a Director of Rezlab Group; Magic Netball Franchise; and is on the Waikato Committee of the Board of Directors. 

In 2009, he was awarded a QSM for Services to the Community. He is also an Officer of the Order of St John and a JP. Married to Julie, their daughter Kate attended Waikato Diocesan School from 2008-2012.
