A commercial lawyer and partner at Norris Ward McKinnon, Dan has developed a strong commercial aptitude over years of advising large local organisations and has particular expertise in Education Law through his work with tertiary education providers. He regularly works alongside CEOs and Boards in respect of governance matters. As well as his legal qualifications, Dan has a Diploma in Business Studies and is a member of the management committee of Norris Ward McKinnon. He also serves on the Waikato Rugby Union Judiciary and Appeals Committee.
Dan and his wife, Sue, have three children, including a daughter currently in Year 9 at Dio. A keen sportsman, Dan currently plays cricket and hockey, and also enjoys reading and travel.
